TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing an amendment to an Option Agreement dated August 29, 2008 between Prospero Silver Corp. (the Company), Mineral Fumarola, S.A. de C.V. (a wholly owned subsidiary) and Altiplano S.A. de C.V. (the Vendor) whereby the terms have been amended to give the Company the right to acquire 100% interest in the Cordero Property, subject only to the Vendor's 2% NSR, by making staged issuances of 600,000 common shares over the next 12 months. The Company will not be required to make any further cash payments or make any further exploration expenditures.
