Pursuant to special resolutions passed by the shareholders of Merrex Gold Inc. (the "Company") on February 22, 2017, the Company has completed a plan of arrangement under Section 288 of the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia). The Plan of Arrangement was completed on Tuesday, February 28th, and has resulted in IAMGOLD Corporation acquiring all the outstanding securities of the Company in exchange for shares of IAMGOLD Corporation.
Effective at the close of business Wednesday, March 1, 2017, the common shares of will be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange.
